Our Design is Almost Done!
Our team has been working hard to create the best neighborhood design that facilities both privacy and community interaction. We have hosted three design planning workshops with our architects and development consultant, and we held our final one on September 22! We congratulate our entire design team on the outstanding result!

Thank you to our professional team, Katie McCamant of CoHousing Solutions, Urban Development + Partners (UD+P) of Portland, Oregon, Mahlum Architects and M F Architects of Portland, Oregon. And to our host communities, Southside Cohousing and Muir Commons for facilitating these amazing workshops!

Stay tuned to see the designs for yourself!

While our architects are putting the finishing details on our designs, we are already thinking about the kind of outdoor environment we want to create. A small committee has been meeting with local landscape architect Josephine McProud to discuss the many possibilities for gardens, vegetation, and trees!
Although our designs are nearly finalized, there is still plenty of opportunity to participate in our community design. If you like the idea of living in a community that you helped create alongside other trustworthy homeowners and friends, now is the time to join Washington Commons!
Welcome New Explorers!
We are pleased to welcome two new Explorer members to our growing group. Norma and Lonon currently live in the Sacramento area, and signed up as Explorers at the September Site Tour.
