October 3 through October 9 is Mental Illness Awareness Week. For the children and teens that come into our care, many will face some form of mental illness and as CASA advocates, one of our duties to speak out for child and make sure their mental needs are met by connecting with the right resources to help them properly.


Be sure to check our social media pages as during Mental Illness Awareness Week as we focus on the effects mental illnesses have on foster children.
