Gallant
Gallant (Mary Rose) sailing in the former Newport Museum Of Yachting Classic Yacht Regatta, 2003. The Museum Library was fortunately saved, despite the Museum unceremoniously vanishing some years ago. Did you attend my Destinations (2003) or Upwind and Downwind (2006) exhibitions there?
Thank You!
A big thanks to everyone who joined us at the Gallery to celebrate 25 years of Cory Silken Photography!
Couldn't make it? I bet we'll be celebrating 15 years of the Silken Gallery next spring...
Into The Blue
The blue sky melts into the Caribbean Sea, viewed from Shirley Heights while waiting for my helicopter, 2007.

No Cash, No Splash
2007 was the year I learned the hard way to require a deposit before hiring a videographer, helicopter, calling an $8/minute satellite phone, and showing up for a shoot!

White Wings, 2004
Big boat starting line at the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta. The original Cannon Race II poster based on this image is out of print and sold out!
Getting into position for a deck shot of Blue Too, 2019. This job has certainly brought me to some unique places and vantage points over the past 25 years...and top-down deck shots are now much quicker to capture with a drone!
