A look ahead...

I have received a lot of compliments on this newsletter and I am happy you all like it. I thought this would be a great way to stay in contact. No I don't speak about my services because I don't try to sell anyone on my services (Ever). Those who want to know more always take initiative by booking a Discovery Call. It saves me a lot of time and effort working with people who are ready to move their business forward and I am honored that they chose me and my team to facilitate their developmental strategies. I love the freedom and fulfillment that business brings. And if you are looking for the same I invite you to book a Discovery Call with me. Now let's get into the fun stuff, the announcement(s) and the month in review.

Happy Fall,

Tiffany + Team

On September 7th, the Easter Shore Chamber of Commerce hosted an event featuring Authoress Maria LLoyd, and former Vice Chairperson for the Mobile Area Black Chamber of Commerce. She gave an interactive presentation that was focused on "Marketing Money Making Moves." Have you ever heard it's important that you go to the meetings? Well, it is! As a gift for our attendance we were gifted our own copy of Maria's book, "Words Are Wealth," and an added planning workbook.

Young Professionals (YP) Mobile

On September 15th, the Young Professionals of Mobile gathered for their September's Social at The Community Foundation of South Alabama. The event was sponsored by Mercedes Benz and catered by Mama's (in downtown Mobile). This event is very chic. You should choose your attire to complement the event. These young professionals are making a statement, showing up for their community and networking with the mover and shakers around the city.

This event is created by Abbey Huguley, Talent Development and Attraction Manager of the Economic Development Department at the Mobile Chamber of Commerce. It is definitely one of the events you want to add to your calendar. Go and follow their EventBrite Page for the latest details on upcoming events.

Junior League of Mobile

Our provisional year with the Junior League of Mobile is developing quite nicely. We had our first General Membership Meeting and was given an update on our organization's philanthropic goals. One of which was our Adopt-A-School Program, where we provided funding for personal hygiene items, a washing machine and dryer with detergent to Clark Shaw Magnet School. The leaders of Junior League Mobile are making a real difference in the lives of our community. We are so happy to serve along side of you.

Do you want to help us in supporting the community? It's easy! Every year the Junior League of Mobile hosts an event called, "Christmas Jubliee." Vendors come together at the Mobile Convention Center and you can do all of your Christmas Shopping early and in style Advance General Admission tickets are Only $10 (VIP tickets are $35 includes Mimosa. *Must be 21 years of age & Up).

You know we love sharing the Good Stuff! Hope to see you there!

Mobile Citizens Police Academy

We still have nine weeks remaining in the Mobile Citizens Police Academy until graduation. We have learned so much from the Property Crimes, the Mounted Unit and Criminal Investigation Departments. We were taught how to access criminal statistical information by visiting www.mobilepd.org, and scrolling down to the third section, there you will see six icons. Click on Crime Stats and you can select which year you want to view the stats of crime in a particular district (in a PDF Format).

We think this information is vital to share with other Community Leaders, that may need this information when planning services to the general public. #OneMobile

Leading Ladies Award

Earlier, this month Tiffany Harris-James, was present to receive her award from the Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama. She had this to say, "Thank you for acknowledging me as a Leading Lady! I didn’t know how Community Service would change me as I helped others. I am eternally grateful for all of the lessons that I have learned over these last couple of years and I am humbled to have my WORK recognized. Thanking God, my husband, extended family and friends for their constant love and support."
