- Period 2 - 11/7-11/20/22
- Period 3 - 1/16 - 1/29/23 (This will be the last chance to pre-order a book. The quantity we order will be based on orders received by the 1/29/23 deadline.)
There will be a final sale in June '23, but sales will be limited to the supply on hand and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. If you wish to purchase a yearbook now, please log into the BSD payment portal at https://wa-bellevue.intouchreceipting.com/, or send your student to visit the front office with $25.00 (check, credit card, or exact change please). Online Student Data Verification - now open (and required for all students)
Annually, parents and guardians are required to verify their student’s data. In previous years this process has been on paper. But, parents and guardians of enrolled BSD students are now able to complete this process electronically via ParentVUE. They can:
- Fill out student demographic update forms
- Complete school nurse health information updates
- Update contact information
- Edit, update and add emergency contacts
- Upload documents to submit to their student(s) school(s)
Parents and guardians must update their student(s) data through this process in order to access all student information via ParentVUE. Once the process has been completed by one family member, access to ParentVUE will be available.

Calling all middle schoolers!
As the summer comes to an end, we are hosting another virtual hackathon from August 26-29th. You may remember us hosting our first two EmP hackathons Health IT, and Ecohack; now we are hosting Eduhack, a hackathon about solving education-related issues, such as accessibility and quality of education.
Participants will be in teams of 5, working together to pick a solvable issue related to the theme and create their own innovative, tech-related product to solve an issue. During the hackathon, teams will research, design, and create their own original product! There will also be student-driven workshops, giving teams a multitude of chances to learn about technical and soft skills in order to aid themselves. The prizes will include a total of $240 worth of gift cards.
No prior experience is required to participate! You can either sign up with a team, or by yourself. If you sign up by yourself, we will assemble a team for you. Participants should be entering middle school or high school (entering 6th grade through 12th grade).
The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, August 24th here: https://bit.ly/eduhack-signup.
Have questions? Check out our FAQ at https://www.emeraldparents.org/hackfest, or email us at emp.hackathon@gmail.com.

Back to school is quickly approaching! Families love working with Cascade Enrichment because we have experienced tutors and teachers who are passionate about their area of speciality. Students enjoy meeting with their tutor in a quiet and comfortable spot at home, and parents enjoy zero commute. We are unlike other tutoring centers because our tutors are highly qualified and we meet at your home.
We are offering 10% off services for parents who sign up now through August 26th. Families will receive this school year discount so long as they are enrolled in regularly scheduled tutor sessions. Our services often have a waitlist because our tutor schedules fill up quickly. It is important to contact us soon to reserve a spot. We appreciate parents trusting us to support their child's academic progress.
For parents interested in signing up, they should either email: info@cascadetutors.com or go to our website. Parents can fill out an enrollment form and sign up for a zoom meeting to discuss their child's individual learning needs.

The Odle PTSA fundraises through variety of programs that benefit the students of our school – and the parent community. The PTSA’s money is primarily used for projects and programs (grants to teachers, 6th grade camp support, classroom supplies for teachers, 8th grade party and graduation, Math Team, Chess Club, Odle student community outreach, etc.). It is also used for communications leadership training, and other areas.
The Odle PTSA also raises money from individual contributors and matching funds from local corporations. Your support is greatly appreciated! If you have any questions, please email us at info@odleptsa.org and we will provide you with the information needed.
