👻 Off-Campus Mavericks 👻
October & November News!
What is OCM?
The Off-Campus Mavericks (OCM) program connects students who live off-campus to campus life. Located in the UC, the Off-Campus Mavericks Center is a home-away-from-home for commuters. This program is a resource to keep you informed about commuter events and resources throughout the year. It is also your forum to discuss commuter concerns and suggest new ideas for solving OCM obstacles. And of course, this program is a great place to connect with other OCMs and make some new friends!

"Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated in the United States from September 15th to October 15th. The honorary month is a time to commemorate the histories, cultures, and contributions of Latinx people whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America. Hispanic Heritage Week was first observed in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson. In 1988, President Ronald Reagan expanded it to span 30 days."(https://parade.com/)
Check out UTA's calendar of events to see how Maverick Country is celebrating LatinX/Hispanic Heritage.
