From The Executive Director

As you may have seen, food assistance programs across the country are losing critical funding, and The Salem Pantry is feeling the impact.

Grants expected to sustain our programs in 2025 are no longer available, initiatives that connect local farmers to pantries have been cut, USDA food deliveries to Massachusetts are being canceled, and many neighbors are struggling to safely access food.

Despite these challenges, we remain committed to supporting our community. More than 31,000 neighbors and 20 partner agencies rely on our work, and with your support, we can keep the food safety net strong.

Whether through a donation, volunteering, or sharing our mission, every action makes a difference. Thank you for standing with us.

The Market now offers a reservation system to make shopping easier. Guests can sign up for a time slot in advance for a smoother experience and shorter wait times.

Reservations are optional but a great way to save time. Those with reservations should arrive five minutes before their scheduled 15-minute window and wait by the "Reservations" sign.

Reservations open up to two weeks in advance. For questions, call 978 552 3954. We're happy to help.

Thank you for your support as we introduce this new system.
