FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK

It’s a big weekend for Providence as our girls soccer team heads to the state championship! We sent them off in style with a pep rally yesterday to get everyone fired up. We’re so proud of our Pioneers and can't wait to show up in the stands and show our #BluePride.

Earlier this week, our campus was filled with hundreds of future Pioneers for our annual Trunk or Treat. It was a great opportunity to welcome families from across the Deanery, give back to our community, and, of course, let our students be kids for a night. Seeing our Pioneers have just as much fun as the little ones is one of the best parts of events like this.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Halloween weekend!

Off to State

What does it take to make it to state?

For our girls soccer team, it’s a season of working hard on the field, finding the right lineup, and building trust with each other.

Once the team entered postseason play, the defensive line came together, featuring seniors Campbell Mouser and Allie Zwissler, junior Isabel Bermudez, sophomore Campbell Stiefvater and freshman Evelyn Rudder, while freshman guarded Olivia Troutman the goal.

But according to Coach Trevor Black, their strength goes beyond positions and strategy. The friendships they’ve built have played a big part in bringing this group together.

Read more about the defensive line and its role in the team’s state championship run in the News and Tribune article linked below.

Spooky Fun

Our annual Trunk or Treat brought 489 kids to campus earlier this week! Our Pioneers dressed up in costumes, decorated trunks and hosted games like basketball, flag football and golf for students from across our deanery.

Thank you to our student organizations and community members who hosted trunks and helped make the evening a success! Click the link below to view photos.
