Did you know:

  • The drinking fountain on the first floor of the main library is also a water-bottle filling station. Since its installation earlier this year it has been used enough to replace over 10,500 plastic bottles!

  • Our library cards come as one piece. Most vendors use a plastic separator between the key chain card and the wallet size card which is waste and just thrown away.

  • Our Bookmobile (called an eTuk) is an electric vehicle, operating on a battery using no fossil fuels.
