NEW IBERIA, La. – The Summer DaBerry Farmers and Artisans Market event is scheduled for June 9, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Everyone is invited to attend this public event, which is coordinated by volunteers of Envision da Berry, but will still happen at the same location of Teche Ridge. This partnership between Teche Ridge and Envision da Berry shows the exciting community-building that both organizations seek to amplify.
Visit the gorgeous Showcase Home, open 7 days a week, Monday to Saturday by appointment, Sundays from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., and other newly constructed homes for sale. Stroll through the park where 40+ vendors will be set up, enjoy local food trucks, arts & craft vendors, free kid-friendly activities and an open house to view the newly built homes!
An updated list of vendors and activities is available on the Da Berry Farmers Market at Teche Ridge
Facebook page.
Teche Ridge sits right outside the southeastern edge of the City of New Iberia. It is the first Traditional Neighborhood Development of its kind in Iberia Parish designed by the same architects that did River Ranch in Lafayette and Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville. All these neighborhoods are designed with walk-ability in mind. Community parks, restaurants, retail shops, tree-lined sidewalks and events like the farmers market are an essential part of creating an enhanced quality of living in the neighborhood. The first home was completed and sold in the Summer 2016.
Envision da Berry is a grassroots non-profit volunteer organization that seeks to spark creative partnerships that advance a brighter vision for Iberia Parish. We are excited about this partnership with Teche Ridge to bring new economic opportunities for the people of Iberia Parish.
