Exciting Reaching BeyondGlobally Student Updates

It is with great excitement and pride that Reaching Beyond Globally shares the progress of its 23 students. Your generosity and support is more important than ever as thousands of Ugandan students have lost their school fees through the USAID cuts. Our students continue to be able to attend school and strive for their goals thanks to you.

Heading to Nursing School

Precious, Martine, Joab, Shakool, Angella and Grace have begun their nursing schooling at St. Ambrose Institute of Health Sciences. "I want to be able to help people be healthy and also to give back the help I have been given. Without RBG and my education I would not be able to achieve much." Bagenda Joab

Preparing for University

Eveline and Amani have chosen to study Advanced Secondary courses at Notre Dame Academy and St. Edward's Secondary School, focusing on the sciences. They are striving for strong scores on their exams enabling them to receive government bursars for University. During their holiday breaks they are working on their family farms and shops to earn funds to help with University supplies and requirements.

"I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all of you. Thank you for paying my fees. Thank you for the love, for the care and everything. School is going on very well and I do promise that I will achieve the best at the end. Thank you so much!" Ayesiga Eveline

Civil Engineering Studies

Daniel is attending Uganda Technical College Kyema. "Uganda is an agricultural country with most families depending on farming to survive. You can dig, plant and come up empty handed. I strongly believe we need education to better our lives." Alinaitwe Daniel

Welcome Philip

Thanks to the generosity of two new sponsors, we are welcoming Mukisa Philip to our list of students. He is attending St. Kirigwajjo Secondary School. Philip was burned in an accident as a toddler, and in spite of his injuries is the top student in his class and has the most beautiful penmanship. He is driven and committed to continuing his education and making top marks. Thank you Logan and Jason for making this possible for him!
