Redesigning High Schools: 10 Features for Success

Offering a Free Consultation

Envision Learning Partners helps educators (that’s you!) design and implement high-quality performance assessments, portfolio-defense systems, and graduate profiles.

We’re feeling action-oriented to do more of what we know, love, and believe is best for students. To that end, we are offering free consultations to discuss the needs of your learning community and the role that performance assessment system building could play in supporting your goals.

Contact the ELP team to schedule your consultation. You can send us some materials to review in advance, we’ll pair you with one of our experienced coaches, and you will have an hour to explore how performance assessment can help your students thrive.

Aurora Institute Symposium 2024

Ruth Chung Wei, ELP's Director of Research & Innovation, presented at this year's Aurora Institute Symposium alongside two school leaders, two students/graduates of inclusive, competency-based schools, and three researchers responsible for documenting the characteristics of the schools’ inclusive learning environments in case studies completed in June 2024.

School leaders and graduates from two schools were highlighted in ELP’s Learning Differences study shared what it was like to work in or attend schools where close relationships with caring staff and individualized supports fostered students’ well being and a sense of belonging. Graduates also cited advisory, and opportunities to collaborate with and build camaraderie with diverse peers through authentic projects, pursue passion projects of their choice, and present their learning to authentic audiences as experiences that supported their engagement and academic success.

If you missed the session, we will be presenting again at the 2025 AERA Annual Meeting,

taking place in Denver, Colorado from April 23rd through 27th. More details to come.

Join us next Thursday in the ELP Lounge!

The ELP Lounge is a free, open session that brings together educators from across the country.

Let's navigate together what it means to support, educate, and love all young people.

Partner Profile: Bullitt County Public Schools

ELP has worked with Bullitt County Public Schools (a public school district in Shepherdsville, KY that serves students from pre-K through 12th grade) since 2018, partnering on their Graduate Profile development and performance assessment system.
