New Music USA announces a relief fund for performers!
New Music USA, a funder of several Festival projects, as just announced a collaborative emergency fund to help "performers of music by living composers... with urgent financial needs following cancelations of their work in this initial phase of the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, the Cabrillo Festival staff is working remotely from home, monitoring developments, and doing our part to keep our community safe. Please be assured that the Festival will do everything necessary to ensure the health and well-being of our audience and artists. We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation now and will continue to do so up until the Festival season. We will take all measures required per the City of Santa Cruz, our local Health Department, and CDC recommendations. In the meantime, we wish for good health to you and yours!
