Action Requested: Complete the Special Areas Educators and Evaluators Survey
As we close the books on our first full year of statewide implementation of ADEPT 2020 for Special Areas, we want to hear from you. Please share your experience with us via the surveys below. Please share the appropriate surveys with your Special Areas evaluators and practitioners.


Help us help you! Please share your outstanding School Counselor Plans, Student Growth Goals, and School Library Plans with us for use as examples. Email your district’s best to Beverly Flythe at bflythe@ed.sc.gov. 
ADEPT and SLO Reminders
ADEPT
OEELD will email ADEPT contacts the last week of May to request the names and CIDs of educators eligible for sanction. Annual contract educators who fail to meet their formal evaluation for the second time are eligible for sanction. If you have any questions regarding the sanction progress or educators eligible for sanction in your district, please contact your Regional Education Associate.
 
Please be reminded that the deadline to complete and enter teacher and special area evaluation data in SCLead.org is June 20, 2022.

Student Learning Objectives (SLOs)
We will have SLO Training for District Leaders on June 1, 2022, from 9AM-4PM and SLO Training for School Leaders on July 11, 2022, from 9AM-4PM. Register today!
For classroom-based teachers, the SLO score or “skip SLO” must be present for auto-completion to fill in Overall Status and recommendations for the following year for Continuing GBE educators. The auto-completion feature will begin on Friday, May 13.

Virtual Office Hours Resources
Thank you for joining us at the May 4, 2022, Effectiveness Virtual Office Hours! That was our last session for academic year 2021–22. If you missed any of our sessions, previous months’ recordings and PowerPoint Presentations are available on our website.
 
Professional Learning Opportunities
We encourage you to have your educators and administrators sign up for various professional learning opportunities that we offer. Many of our offerings, including various SCTS 4.0 Evaluator Virtual Trainings, are still open. Please have them visit our Effectiveness Professional Learning Opportunities webpage. 
PADEPP
On April 12, the State Board of Education approved 12 revised criteria for our PADEPP Standards effective school year 2022-23. Please check the revised PADEPP Guidelines. We will host a webinar on July 14 3:00-4:00 p.m. to provide a brief overview of the changes. Please encourage all of your principals and principal evaluators to attend.
