Provider Orientation Now Offers CME Credit!!
OFP is proud to announce we have partnered with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine to provide CME's for our Provider Orientation to Physicians and Nurses.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and the California Prevention Training Center. The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education to physicians. The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses may receive continuing nursing education credit for this educational activity as the ANCC accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ through its reciprocity agreement. The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™

We created new LMS learning tracks to help clinic staff better identify their roles and the required training best suited for their position. 

  • Site Certifier
  • The Medical Director, Physician, Certified Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife who is responsible for overseeing the family planning services at the site.
  • Clinicians
  • Physicians and Non-Physician Medical Practitioners (NMPs) including Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Certified Nurse Midwives, who are NOT identified as the site certifier.
  • Administrative
  • Medical Assistants (MAs) and Front Office Staff who certify clients for enrollment, deliver client education and counseling and manage medical records on behalf of the Family PACT Program.
