We are currently preparing for our June Council 2022! We are praying that this will be a wonderful fellowship and worship experience that will bless our churches and young people to be better "Positioned to Serve" (John 12:26).
As of now we will be having In-Person Worship for the Georgia State Council June 16-18, with our GSCYPU service on February 18, 2022 in Warner Robins, GA. If you are unable to attend in-person we will continue to stream services via Facebook Live.
Leading up to this council we will be taking names for nominations of our executive staff members, to vote during our time Saturday. We are asking that you take this time to consider those in your church that would be willing to continue to carry the work of the GSCYPU. If you plan to nominate or be nominated, please know the following is requested upon acceptance of nomination:
- Nominees must be 38 years old or younger
- Nominees must be in good standing with their church,
- Nominees must have written recommendation from his/her pastor.
- Nominees must submit a passed background check
- Nominees must submit a short biography along with an appropriate picture
To be nominated and to vote you must register for February and June Council. February registration will remain open until June 10, 2022, and June registration is currently open (Links provided). When you have registered for both councils, during voting time an email will be provided with instructions on how to submit a ballot.
