This month we recognized the importance of Black history and the contributions, struggles, and achievements of African Americans and communities throughout history.
We also recognized heart health. Heart disease continues to be the greatest health threat to Americans and is still the leading cause of death worldwide so let's make sure to take care of our bodies.

February 8, This month's feature included a discussion with Democratic Precinct Leader Sigmon Zeleke and Tony DeRico, President of the Wendell-Wake County Branch of the NAACP, Inc. The focus was Black History Month.
February 9, Mayor Ronnie Currin, Rolesville Rural FD Chief Donnie Lawrence, Rolesville Rural FD Executive Bard Chair, Spence Jones, and Commissioner Lenwood Long, Jr, (Public Service Liaison) visited Fuquay-Varina's new fire station.
February 16, Mayor Currin and Rolesville Police Department visited the future Wake Tech East Campus opening in the Fall of 2024. Facilities will include; Education and Innovation Center, Public Safety Simulation Complex, Advance Technology Center (Spring 2025), and a Central Energy Plant. February 20, Rolesville's budget work session took place at which Town officials discussed priorities for next year's budget.
