A three-building office-to-residential conversion in Old Town North is back in motion. Following years of rising construction costs and high interest rates, Community Three’s TideLock project landed a $96 million senior construction loan at the end of February, according to the Washington Business Journal. The 1980s-era four-story office buildings will become a waterfront community of 234 units split between two nine-story buildings, one for condos and the other for multifamily rentals. Retail and a 5,000SF arts anchor in the form of the museum are also part of the plan set to be delivered in spring 2026.

Southern Living Magazine recognizes Alexandria as one of the top 25 "Best Cities in the South." The City's historic charm, proximity to the "hustle and bustle" of D.C., and vibrant small business landscape were all highlighted. A 20,000-person survey informed the list of cities where Charleston, South Carolina, placed first.
