Texas Library Association Council I; Monday, 4:00 - 5:00 PM. Council is the governing body of TLA.

TLA Membership Meeting; Thursday, 1:30 - 2:00 PM. TLA leaders will provide an overview of the proposed TLA Strategic Plan and share other association news.

Texas Library Association Council II; Thursday, 2:15 - 3:15 PM.
This week there will not be Officer Office Hours but we encourage you to join us for an overview of the 2022 – 2025 TLA Strategic Plan at 3 p.m. via Zoom on April 7 and again on April 8 with TLA President Dan Burgard, President-Elect Mary Woodard and Executive Director Shirley Robinson. No registration required.

Reminder: Please remind your units, there is no on-site registration at TLA 2022 this year. Members can still register for the conference online only with a credit card or online check; deadline to register is April 21. Also remind them that everyone attending conference needs to complete their Crowdpass verification (upload proof of full vaccination or negative COVID-19 test.) The TALL Texans application is open! Click here to apply through the Members Only portal. TALL Texans 2022 will be held in person at Montserrat Retreat Center, Lake Dallas. The deadline to apply is May 15, 2022.

TLA SUMMIT | June 2 | Virtual
This one-day virtual conference, with over 50 professional development sessions, aims to nurture, energize, and strengthen you and your library team. Sessions will be available for viewing for 30 days after the event.
Early bird rates until May 1 are $149 members, $189 for non-members. Information and registration here.
LAUNCH | July 24-25 | Austin, TX
Leadership training for library professionals with less than 5 years of experience. Registration is $225, and the event will be at the Westin Austin at the Domain. REGISTER
