Dear Members,

Recently, we submitted a request to the National Credit Union Administration (“NCUA”) to officially change the legal name of our credit union from National Police Credit Union to National Police Federal Credit Union. That request has been granted and we will officially begin using our new name on January 1, 2025.

This decision was reached after careful consideration of the progress we have made to establish a national presence over the last 10 years and with the full understanding and belief that the new name best reflects our ability to deliver on our mission of serving the financial needs of Police Officers and their families to an expanded group across the country.

What started out as a grass roots marketing effort over ten years ago has led to the addition of thousands of new members and over 400 police departments and associations throughout the United States. We now serve Police Officers and their families in all 50 states. It is only fitting that we embrace a name and an identity that reflects who we are and how far we’ve come.

For our national members, this change simplifies our message to you. As of January 1, 2025, we will no longer operate under three separate names. Going forward, we will be unified as one entity: National Police Federal Credit Union.

We are proud to be a business founded by and focused on Police Officers and their families and we will do everything that we can to sustain and grow our organization so that we can continue to serve you for many more generations.

Thank you for everything that each of you have done to contribute to our collective success and please stay tuned for updates and additional announcements. In the meantime, visit our website to review more details.

Sincerely,

Scott Arney

CEO, Chicago Patrolmen's Federal Credit Union
