Community Survey Results

The City recently conducted a Community Input Survey providing valuable insights into the community’s perspectives on Boca Raton’s livability, with a focus on key areas such as Economy, Mobility, and Safety that directly impact residents’ quality of life.

Survey results will be a part of the City’s strategic planning efforts, and will help guide decision-making, prioritize community needs, and shape future initiatives to enhance Boca Raton’s residential and business landscape. Learn more.

Government Campus Redevelopment Partnership Updates

The City is partnering with Terra & Frisbie Group, to transform the City's Government Campus Redevelopment Partnership into a civic and mixed use center with public facilities and services.

CURRENTLY – City staff is working with Terra & Frisbie Group to finalize an interim agreement that will be discussed and voted on at the upcoming City Council Meeting on March 17.

James Zervis Promoted to Deputy City Manager

Continuing his role as the City’s Chief Financial Officer, Zervis will now also serve as Deputy City Manager, expanding his responsibilities to include Public Works & Engineering, Information Technology, and playing a key role in the government campus redevelopment initiative. With over 24 years of experience in municipal leadership, financial management, and executive oversight, Zervis brings extensive expertise to the City. Learn more.

Water System Disinfection Program and Fire Hydrant Flushing to Begin

To maintain the water quality of the City's water system, our Utility Services Department will temporarily modify the disinfection process used by the water treatment facility for a two-week period from Sunday, March 16 - Sunday, March 30. Customers served by the City's Utility Services may notice a slight chlorine taste or odor in the tap water during this period.

The City will flush fire hydrants during this period as well. Customers may notice flowing water in streets and swales, localized lower water pressures, and a slight discoloration of their tap water.

How do I report a pothole, broken streetlight, or other issue?

Use the City's Report a Concern system on the My Boca app to notify the correct City staff members about any maintenance issues or concerns you come across in the City. You can easily report a pothole, broken streetlight, or other concern. Plus, its easy!

How to Report an Issue:

1. Download the MyBoca App – Available for both iOS and Android.
2. Open the App and navigate to the "Report a Concern" section.
3. Select the Issue Type – Choose from categories like potholes, streetlights, sidewalks, drainage, and more.
4. Provide Details – Include a brief description, attach photos, and pinpoint the location.
5. Submit the Report – Your request will be routed to the right department for action.
6. Urgent Matters? – Call the Public Works & Engineering Department at (561) 416-3360.
