Our annual Clean & Cut program with EXTENDED SERVICES will be starting soon. This is the time to start your hurricane prep and get ahead of the storms.
With several weeks of extended services early in the season, be sure to trim your trees and clean out garages, carports and storage areas.

May is National Bike Month - take advantage of more than 84 miles of bike lanes, shared-use paths, scenic trails across the City, and join us for the following programming:

2nd Annual Bike Rodeo
Young riders ages 6–10 are invited to the City’s 2nd Annual Bike Rodeo on Saturday, May 30. This fun, hands-on event will feature bike safety instruction and skill-building activities designed to help our youngest cyclists ride with confidence. Register today for one of four time slots between 9am - 11am. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

FREE Ebike Training for Teens
The City is sponsoring 150 FREE Ebike Training for Teens courses for Boca Raton RESIDENT teenagers. The online Ebike Pro Course is the most comprehensive training available for young drivers and pre-driving teens. Students will learn the skills needed for safe and responsible ebiking - skills that carry over into safer driving. Recommended for ages 12 - 19 years old.

The Future of Mobility Technology
Residents are invited to learn more about the technology behind autonomous vehicles and mobility at the 2026 Autonomous Vehicle Conference, hosted by Boca Raton–based Guident. This FREE event brings together innovators, students, and public-sector voices to explore this emerging mobility, with the City’s Public Works & Engineering Director moderating a session as part of the program.

Heads Up Boca! Stay Safe, Swim Smart
May is Water Safety Month, and the City’s Recreation Services joins this nationwide effort to help prevent water-related accidents and promote safe, enjoyable experiences in and around the water.
Throughout the month, Aquatics, Ocean Rescue and Fire Rescue will share tips on Water Safety Wednesdays to help you and your family stay safe.

Earth Month 2026 Accomplishments
City residents participated in nearly 30 Earth Month events, including e-waste recycling, dune restorations, educational lectures, and tree plantings, which highlighted this year’s theme, OUR POWER, OUR PLANET. Earth Month programming encourages community engagement and a commitment to protecting our natural resources for a more sustainable future. Learn more on our Sustainability webpage.
