Business Tax Renewal Reminder
Business owners: If you haven't yet, make sure to renew your business tax by September 30, 2025 to avoid penalties and late fees. Please use the City's online platform, Boca eHUB, for an easy renewal process.
Steps to Renew:

- Review your invoice(s) and pay online.

School Zone Safety Program
REMINDER - The City implemented a new School Zone Safety Program which includes the use of speed cameras to cite drivers who exceed the school zone speed limit by more than 11 mph+ during arrival and dismissal times when the flashing lights are active.
The 30-Day Warning Period (covering 30 school days) began on September 2, 2025.
Beginning Thursday, October 16, 2025, Notice of Violations, which include a $100 citation without points or impact on insurance, will begin to be issued.

The Residences at Martin Manor
The City celebrated the groundbreaking of The Residences at Martin Manor, a redevelopment of Dixie Manor that will bring 95 affordable homes for families, along with a community center, playground, fitness space, and more.

Broken Sound Blvd / Spanish River Blvd Lane Closure
From August 18 to September 26, roadwork will be underway at the intersection of Spanish River Blvd and Broken Sound Blvd. A new eastbound right turn lane will be added to help improve traffic flow. Expect lane closures weekdays from 9am to 4pm, including:
- Eastbound Spanish River between Countess de Hoernle Park and Airport Rd
- Southbound left turn lane on Broken Sound Blvd at Spanish River Blvd
- Westbound U-turn lane on Spanish River at Broken Sound Blvd

ONLINE: You can renew online through Webtrac ONLY if you’ve purchased a permit in the past two years. You can opt in for it to be mailed to you or you can pick it up in person at a participating facility.

Emergency Response Training
Would you know what to do if a hurricane, flood, or disaster strikes? Learn how to protect yourself and assist others with FREE Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training from Boca Raton Fire Rescue Services. This FEMA-based course runs four weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6–9pm, starting October 7. Open to City residents age 16+, and all graduates become official City volunteers.
