Government Campus
Interim Agreement Approved
At the March 18 City Council Meeting, an interim agreement between the City of Boca Raton and Terra & Frisbie group passed. This non-binding agreement allows the City and Terra & Frisbie Group to work together to study the project in more detail for a period of time.
What does this mean?
The agreement lets both parties do their due diligence and conduct important research such as reviewing the site, checking the financial viability of the project, assessing traffic, infrastructure and environmental impacts, and ultimately determining if the project is a good fit for the community.
Terra & Frisbie Group will cover all costs associated with these studies and research.
What's next?
-
A 150-day review period begins. Terra & Frisbie Group will have five months to do the research and refine their plans. They will keep the City and residents updated on progress and findings along the way.
-
Public involvement is key. Residents will continue to have the chance to give feedback as the project develops.
-
As the process continues information gathered from the studies along with feedback collected from the community will help guide the creation of a Master Plan and a Master Partnership Agreement to be completed by the end of October 2025.

City Flag Redesign - We Need YOUR Input
In an initiative brought forward by City Council, the City is redesigning a new flag that better represents our community's heritage, values, and identity. Recently, hundreds of U.S. cities have redesigned their flags based on best practices from the North American Vexillological Association (NAVA), an expert organization in flag design.
Review the flag options on our website and share your feedback by April 16. City council will select the final design, which will be unveiled as part of our Centennial celebration.
PLEASE NOTE: The City is NOT changing its seal, which dates back to a design first used in 1950 by the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. Only the flag is being redesigned. The flag redesign options do not include the City Seal.
