Heads Up Boca! Train Track Caution
Trains pass through Boca Raton regularly. Staying alert can help prevent accidents. Remember these tips:
-
Never stop on the tracks: Have enough space on the other side before you cross.
-
Be patient: Wait until the gates are fully raised and the lights stop before crossing.
-
Obey signals: Always follow lights, gates, and signs at crossings. Never try to outrun a train.
-
Look both ways: Trains can come fast, from either direction.
-
Stay alert: Avoid distractions like headphones or cell phones.
-
Respect the rail lines: Tracks are private property. Walking along or crossing them outside of designated areas is both illegal and dangerous.
Stay safe, Boca Raton! Let's protect ourselves and our community.
