Business Tax Renewal Reminder
Business owners: If you haven't yet, make sure to renew your business tax by September 30, 2026 to avoid penalties and late fees. Please use the City's online platform, Boca eHUB, for an easy renewal process.
Steps to Renew:
- Check your mailbox and email for your reminder.
- Use the link to access Boca eHUB to log in and renew.
- Review your invoice(s) and pay online.

Let's Talk Boca Event Recap
On August 19, residents joined City Manager Mark Sohaney, Police Chief Jarad Phelps, and Fire Rescue Chief John Treanor for a community conversation focused on public safety. The event gave the public an opportunity to ask questions and learn about safety issues in the community, the City’s new Whole Blood Program, homelessness efforts, and the future facility needs of the Police Services Department. Park(ing) Day

Boca Raton Mobility and the City’s Traffic Division are partnering with Strong Towns Boca Raton to bring Park(ing) Day to Mizner Park. Two parking spaces in front of Sloan’s will be transformed into a temporary pop-up park with seating, games, and interactive art.
Part of a global initiative, Park(ing) Day transforms parking spaces into community gathering spaces and encourages conversation about safer, greener, and more people-friendly streets. This family-friendly event is free and highlights Boca Raton’s commitment to building a more connected, vibrant, and sustainable city.

Heads Up Boca: Be Rail Smart
Through the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) Be Rail Smart Campaign, residents and visitors are encouraged to stay alert and make safe choices around railroad crossings. Follow these easy reminders from FDOT to help keep yourself and others safe when near the tracks.
- Stay behind the stop line or gate while waiting for the train to pass.
- Wait for the gates to go up completely before crossing.
- Look both ways to ensure there are no other trains coming.
- Use sidewalks or other designated crossings.
- Obey all signals and warning signs.

Sustainability Action Plan: We Want to Hear from YOU!
The City of Boca Raton’s Office of Sustainability has drafted an update to its Sustainability Action Plan. What does a more sustainable Boca Raton look like to you? Share your feedback and help shape the priorities and actions that will guide our community through 2030.
Residents, businesses, community organizations, and other stakeholders are invited to review the draft plan and share feedback by October 9, 2026. Your input will help shape the final plan before it is presented to City Council for adoption.
