Facing COVID-19 Challenges, Together

Phase 1 of the Plan for Florida’s Recovery took effect in Palm Beach County on May 11, 2020 and since then, Boca Raton employees have been safely welcoming residents and visitors back to our beaches, parks and some facilities.

Even with social distancing, enhanced sanitation and facial coverings, safety concerns about large public gatherings remain, so we won’t see traditional programs like summer camp, the Summer Concert Series or the Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration. However, we are planning virtual experiences when possible, like the Memorial Day celebration , and the Boca Raton Library’s new curbside pick-up .

Even though this summer will look a little different this year, our City staff is happy to welcome you back. We’re here to help you rediscover what you love about Boca Raton…our beaches, parks, tennis centers, golf courses, swim centers, pickleball courts, skate park, dog parks, trails and more.

Recreation in Boca Raton has also gone virtual with Recreation Services honoring America's fallen war heroes in a virtual Memorial Day Ceremony (view the 32-minute Ceremony on the City's YouTube channel ).
