- Update their IDs and microchips (just in case!)
- Consider staying home with them
- Keep them busy with treats or toys

Safety Message from Fire Rescue: Fourth of July
Fireworks are a traditional part of America’s 4th of July celebration, yet every year people take potentially dangerous risks when they celebrate. About 15,600 people were treated in hospital emergency departments for fireworks injuries in 2020. Of that number, about 66% occurred in the month surrounding the July 4th holiday as reported by U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. As the holiday weekend approaches, Boca Raton Fire Rescue would like to remind residents to enjoy Independence Day in a safe and responsible way!
