Call for Artists & Poets for New Ode to Boca Mural
Coming this fall, the Mizner Park Amphitheater stage doors are getting a fresh new look! Through its Public Art Boca program, the City is seeking qualified muralists to create a Centennial themed mural on the stage doors inspired by community submitted Ode to Boca poems to celebrate our community identity.
ARTISTS: Learn more about the Call for Artist guideline and submit your application by Monday, July 21, 2025.
COMMUNITY MEMBERS: Submit your Ode to Boca today, it could be used as inspiration for the mural, or for a future public art project.

Government Campus Update
At the June 10 City Council meeting, Council directed staff to move toward achieving a Master Partnership Agreement to transform the downtown government campus with partners Terra & Frisbie Group which includes a new City Hall, Community Center, Police Substation, plus retail, dining, residential, office, and hotel space—designed to better serve our community. This early, non-binding step allows continued refinement with community input.

Flooding During Hurricanes or Storms
Thanks to enhanced floodplain management, the City's improved CRS Classification now qualifies residents for a larger flood insurance discount - rising from 15% to 25% for those with qualifying NFIP policies, effective October 2025.
