General Election: Nov. 3
The General Election is on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, and will take place from 7:00am - 7:00pm.
The deadline to register to vote or change your party affiliation for the General Election is Monday, October 5, 2026.
Early Voting: There will be multiple Early Voting Locations throughout the County. Early voting locations within the City limits are Sugar Sand Park, Downtown Library, and Spanish River Library. Early voting will take place 7:00am - 7:00pm, October 19 - November 1.
Vote by Mail: The deadline to request that a Vote-by-Mail ballot be mailed to you is 5:00pm on Thursday, October 22. The deadline to return your Vote-by-Mail ballot to the Supervisor of Elections’ Main Office is 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 3.

As Boca Raton continues to grow, the City is evaluating options for a new Police Services Headquarters to support the community's current and future public safety needs. The existing headquarters, built nearly 40 years ago for a much smaller community, no longer fully meets today's operational, space, technology, and resiliency needs.

Beginning October 1, 2026, City of Boca Raton beach park gatehouses will no longer accept cash for daily and weekend parking payments.

2026-27 Final Budget Approved, A Reduction in Total City Millage Rate
Council recently approved the FY 2026-27 Budget and Capital Improvements Program. The budget supports the City’s Strategic Focus Areas and Priorities and is designed to maintain the City’s world-class service levels and AAA bond rating.
Highlights include:
- The City's operating millage rate is 3.6639, which is slightly lower than FY 25-26.
-
An additional 0.0163 mills is dedicated to existing debt payments, bringing the total millage rate to 3.6639 mills.
- There is an increase to the fire assessment fee for FY 26-27, with annual residential fees at $224 and non-residential fees depending on the size and type of property.
- Utility rates are maintained at the Consumer Price Index of 3.4%, or an average of $1.87 per month.
