Public Information Sessions

As part of the March 10 election, City of Boca Raton voters will be asked to vote for or against a $175 million general obligation bond in order to construct a new Police Department Headquarters. These presentations are informational only and will provide background information, details of the proposed project, and financing facts to help residents make an informed decision.

Latest Update on the Downtown Campus Redevelopment Project

At the January 20 & 27 City Council, CRA and Special Meetings, Council took the action on the proposed Downtown Campus Redevelopment Project. 

• Passed Ordinance 5769, approving agreements to advance the Downtown Campus Redevelopment Project, subject to March 10 Referendum - Ordinance No. 5769
• Passed Resolution No. 006-2026 and introduced Ordinance 5772, reaffirming that nothing about the Downtown Campus Redevelopment Project moves forward unless voters approve it, confirming there is one binding City-wide vote on March 10 that controls the outcome.

The March 10 referendum is the deciding vote. Nothing about the project moves forward unless voters approve it.

Boca Raton Municipal Election

Tuesday, March 10

Boca Raton will hold its regularly scheduled municipal election on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Residents will vote for the offices of Mayor and Council A, B and D, along with two City-specific ballot questions.

First Responder Expo

Meet your City police, firefighters, and paramedics at the Boca Raton First Responders Expo on Saturday, February 7 from 10am - 2pm at the Town Center Mall Parking lot (corner of Glades Rd. & St. Andrews Blvd.).

Check out live action firefighting, K-9 and motorcycle demonstrations, interactive activities and photo ops for the kids! A FREE event.

James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational

The 2nd annual golf invitational tees off in Boca Raton on March 2 – March 8 at the Old Course at Broken Sound. A field of 78 PGA Tour Champion players will compete for $2.2 million dollars. During Friday and Saturday play, 26 football legends will join the field.

The tournament will be televised on the Golf Channel. Tickets now on sale.

Festival of the Arts BOCA Tickets Now on Sale

Festival of the Arts BOCA returns to the Mizner Park Amphitheater February 27 - March 8 with a great lineup of performances and talks, including author Walter Mosley, Broadway icon Patti LuPone, and A Night at the Ballet. Visit Festival of the Arts Boca.

Kids' Safety Fair

Bring the kids to the City of Boca Raton’s inaugural Kids Safety Fair for a morning full of fun, hands-on activities, and learning important life safety skills.

FREE Event | Children Ages 5 to 10

Wednesday, February 18 | 9am – 11am

(Feb. 18 - No School for PBC Students. All children must be accompanied by an adult.)

The Fair is packed with activities:

• Bring your bike/push scooter and ride through our NEW Traffic Garden (no electric vehicles)
• Visit interactive booths from City departments and local organizations
• Grab fun giveaways and a FREE helmet for the first 50 kids
• Meet local heroes and make new friends in the community

For City sanitation customers, please note the holiday sanitation schedule for the President's Day holiday (observed on Monday, February 16) as your collection days may change:

• City offices closed on Monday, February 16.
• Monday, February 16 service will be a day LATER on Tuesday, February 17. 
• Tuesday, February 17 service will be a day LATER on Wednesday, February 18.
