As part of the March 10, 2026 election, City of Boca Raton voters will be asked to vote for or against a $175 million general obligation bond in order to construct a new Police Department Headquarters. This presentation is informational only and will provide background information, details of the proposed project, and financing facts to help residents make an informed decision. In partnership with GuidentCircuit and Auve Tech, the City is preparing to launch MiCa, the City’s first fare-free autonomous shuttle - offering residents and visitors a sustainable, technology-driven loop through Mizner Park. This innovative service reflects Boca Raton’s commitment to forward-thinking mobility, integrating technology that supports safer streets, cleaner energy, and improved mobility for everyone. Ode to Boca Mural

Boca Raton’s Centennial Comes Alive in Ode to Boca Mural

In honor of the City's Centennial, the City has unveiled a new Ode to Boca mural by local artist, Brian Butler on the stage doors of the Mizner Park Amphitheater. Inspired by community poems and reflections, the artwork blends Butler’s signature narrative style with local voices to celebrate Boca Raton’s history and identity. Featuring natural and cultural landmarks, from beaches and waterways to wildlife and historic architecture, the mural offers a layered visual story that reflects the City’s past, present, and future while serving as a welcoming centerpiece in Downtown Boca.

About the Artist

South Florida artist Brian Butler brings a playful, storytelling-driven style to this mural, with the artwork vibrantly capturing a century of Boca Raton's iconic moments and signature architecture.

NEW Wildflower Park Public Art Debut

As 2025 comes to a close, a Centennial Legacy Project will debut in Wildflower Park, in honor of Boca Raton’s 100th anniversary. The new public art installations will celebrate community, creativity, and sense of place — a final tribute to the Centennial year.


The project includes large-scale mosaic murals, the return of the colorful Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0 swings, an enhanced splash pad, and creative murals on the Palmetto Park Bridge columns. Together, these works reflect Boca Raton’s landscape, history, and local voices.

Boca Raton Police Services is here to let you know how to stay safe this holiday season. Whether shopping at the mall or online, check out their Holiday Shopping Safety video and Shopping Safety Tips. A few reminders:


  • Only shop with reputable vendors online.
  • Refrain from storing credit card data online or on your phone.
  • Having a package delivered? Schedule a delivery date and time when you will be home.
  • Not going to be home? Have your package delivered to a trusted neighbor or relative.
  • Reduce distractions and avoid using your cell phone while walking in parking lots.
  • Watch your purse and make sure wallets and more are not visible or accessible to others.

Give your Christmas tree a second chance

Recycle Your Christmas Tree

The City's Christmas tree recycling program will run from Dec. 26, 2025 through Jan. 19, 2026.


Residents can drop off their Christmas trees — no lights, oranments, etc. — at Countess de Hoernle Park (1000 Spanish River Blvd, southern end of the parking lot next to the maintenance area). Recreation Services will pick up the trees and chip them into mulch to be used at the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. 


Drop-off Times:

  • Monday - Saturday: 8:00am - 8:00pm
  • Sunday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • **Exception: New Year's Eve & New Year's Day; the park closes at 6:00pm
