Plastic Poetry at the Boca Raton

As part of Boca Raton’s 100th anniversary, the City has unveiled two new public art installations, Palm Trees Sway and Beams of Sunshine, at the Spanish River Library and Downtown Library, marking the debut of the Ode to Boca series. FDOT Public Meeting for Bike Lane/Sidewalk Improvement Project

Heads Up Boca! Summer Grilling
There’s nothing better than grilling in the summer, but safety comes first. Whether you're searing steaks or skewering kabobs, follow these simple tips from Boca Raton Fire Rescue Services to keep your cookouts safe:
- Grill only outdoors, never indoors or in enclosed spaces.
- Keep grills away from homes, railings, and overhanging branches.
- Maintain a three-foot kid-and-pet-free zone around the grill.
- Clean your grill regularly to prevent grease fires.
- Never leave a lit grill unattended.
- For gas grills, always open the lid before lighting.

For City sanitation customers, please note the holiday sanitation schedule for the Juneteenth holiday (observed on Thursday, June 19) as your collection days may change:
- There will be NO sanitation service on Thursday, June 19.
- Thursday, June 19 service will be one day EARLIER on Wednesday, June 18.
- Friday, June 20 there will be NO CHANGE.
