Boca eHub Coming Soon!

The City will be launching a new web-based software - Boca eHub - that will make applying for City services, permitting, and bill paying more efficient, accessible, and responsive.


Boca eHub, also known as CSS (Citizen Self Service) gives the public online access to apply for planning applications, building permits, business licenses, request inspections, and to pay invoices and follow along with application statuses. The software will debut on February 13, 2023, with training sessions available for the public. Stay tuned for more updates!


*During this transition, new permits, planning applications, and business license applications will NOT be accepted or processed from Wednesday, Feb. 8 - Sunday, Feb. 12 (with the exception of emergency permits). Inspection scheduling will only be available via IVR during the same time period except for Feb. 10 - 12. Normal operations will resume Feb. 13.

Festival of the Arts BOCA returns to the Mizner Park Amphitheater March 3 - March 12 with a lineup of performances, talks and a film screening. This year's events include a screening of Fantasia with a live orchestra, a Night at the Ballet, acclaimed musicians Nicole Henry, Segio Mendes, and author Fran Lebowitz.

Do You Live in a Flood Zone?

It's never too late or too early to consider insuring your property against flood damage. Did you know a large portion of the City lies in the special flood hazard area as determined by FEMA? To obtain information about flood zone designations, flood protection and flood mitigation, please visit the City's website or contact Development Services at 561-393-7792.

Boca Raton First Responder Expo

Meet your City police, firefighters and paramedics at the Boca Raton First Responder Expo on Saturday, February 4 from 10am - 2pm at the Town Center Mall Parking lot (corner of Glades Rd. & St. Andrews Blvd.). Check out live action firefighting, K-9 and motorcycle demonstrations, interactive activities and photo ops for the kids!

Free Shed Event - Saturday, February 11

Shred Event for City Residents

Boca Raton Police Services and Microshred Corporation are hosting a free Shred Event on Saturday, February 11 from 9am - noon at the 6500 Building (6500 Congress Ave.) Take advantage of this opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted documents or computer hard drives. The event is open to City residents (non-commercial), with a maximum of five banker’s sized boxes per household. 

New Glades Road/I-95 Interchange

Now Open

Palm Beach County's first Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) opened in Boca Raton this week and is designed to provide safer access to and from I-95, alleviate traffic and reduce accidents in the area. Learn more.

Brant Drive Bridge Renovation Complete

The new two-lane Brant Drive Bridge between Oregon Lane and Avocet Road in the cities of Boca Raton and Delray Beach will be open to traffic at the end of this week. A ribbon cutting ceremony took place this week to mark the completion of the project which includes a bridge replacement, 10-foot shared-use paths in each direction north of the bridge, reconstructed sidewalks south of the bridge, added lighting and drainage, and upgraded signage and pavement markings.

iSIP Update

The City's multi-year, multi-million dollar Innovative Sustainable Infrastructure Program (iSIP) continues to make progress throughout neighborhoods in Boca Raton. With three major projects completed, and two more currently in progress, Utility and Municipal Services staff is working hard to improve our infrastructure and enhance our community. Black History Month at the Boca Raton Public Library

Black History Month at the Library

The Boca Raton Public Library celebrates Black History Month with a variety of programs in February, including book discussions, Story Central and Drum Sermons at the Downtown Library. See all programming on the library's website.


Make sure to visit the Black History Month displays at both library locations featuring a selection of books by black authors throughout the month.

It's Tee Time in Boca!

Improvements continue at the Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club, the City's championship golf course. Book a tee time and enjoy the greens, a new golf simulator, a bar cart, lessons, youth clinics and more. Plus, many facility upgrades are happening behind the scenes.

Food Truck Fridays Are Back!

Enjoy the outdoors and a variety of food trucks, lawn games and live music at the City's popular Food Truck Fridays. The events are held the first Friday of the month from February to May, at various City parks. All events are 11am - 2pm. Details.
