Your New Deputy City Manager
The City has announced the promotion of Chrissy Gibson to the position of Deputy City Manager.
Chrissy brings extensive experience, dedication and innovative leadership to her new role, where she will oversee critical offices and divisions including the City Clerk, Emergency Management, Sustainability, Public Art, Communications & Marketing, areas of Recreation Services, Human Resources and more.
A true native of Boca Raton, Chrissy graduated from Pope John Paul II High School, Florida Atlantic University and obtained her Master of Public Administration from Nova University. Her journey from her roots to this leadership position shows her passion for serving our city.

Festival of the Arts BOCA
Festival of the Arts BOCA kicks off at the Mizner Park Amphitheater and runs March 1 - March 10 with a great lineup of performances and talks, including the Barcelona Flamenco Ballet, acclaimed poet Richard Blanco, singer Renee Flemming, designer Isaac Mizrahi, and a film screening of JAWS with a live orchestra.

We are lucky to be able to bike all year long in South Florida, and as we celebrate Florida Bike Month, there is no better time to get out and explore the city on two wheels.
Before you head out for a bike ride, brush up on some simple, but important, safety tips. Help keep the roads safer for everyone and enjoy your ride.

Check Your Equipment Inspect your bike before heading out.

Protect Your Head Always wear a helmet.

Stay Visible Use lights when biking at night or in low-light conditions.

Follow Rules of the Road Bicyclists follow the same rules and traffic laws as motorists.

Be Alert Keep a lookout for obstacles in your path.
