North American Slate would like to issue a formal apology to homeowners, neighbors, and HOA boards everywhere… as the slate we have provided for the roofs. The roofs have been described as “museum-grade,” “architecturally elite,” and “frustratingly flawless.”
We fully acknowledge this is our fault, and we take full responsibility. It has come to our attention that the level of craftsmanship, natural stone beauty, and curb appeal delivered by our authentic North American slate / La Bana installations has led to unexpected disruptions throughout entire neighborhoods. Reported issues include: neighbors stopping mid-walk to stare, HOA presidents demanding roof photos “for documentation purposes,” and homeowners unexpectedly bragging about REAL slate tiles at social gatherings.
We regret any inconvenience caused by:
· Slate roofs that look too timeless and elegant
· Natural stone textures that match your home almost too perfectly
· Drive-by compliments you weren’t emotionally prepared to handle
· Curb-appeal upgrades that may spark mild neighborhood envy
· Homes appearing significantly more luxurious than originally intended
We also sincerely apologize if your newly North American slate roof has raised the architectural standards of surrounding homes in ways they can no longer keep up with. Though we accept responsibility for creating roofs that age gracefully for a century or more, we cannot promise we’ll start making them less impressive.
To remain transparent, it has ALWAYS been our mission to elevate your home with the highest-quality, natural, quarried slate available. Still, we are committed to roofs that feel classic, powerful, and “I need to upgrade mine too” inspiring… even if it means issuing another apology in the future.
