On Aug. 14, the Denver Clerk & Recorder converted the Denver Election Advisory Council (DEAC) into an official appointed advisory board for the agency. Clerk Paul López serves as Chair of the DEAC and founding appointments were made to a diverse group of 20 local leaders who will serve as key advisors to the Denver Elections Division. They include:

Through feedback, guidance, and partnership with the Clerk & Recorder, the Council seeks to continuously improve the administration of free, fair, and secure elections in Denver, as well as advance the following goals: strengthen public trust in elections, promote transparency, foster a more informed and inclusive democratic process, and ensure equitable access to the ballot.
