Spread the Light: Chanukah Giving
A recent Isaiah Chanukah tradition is the Fifth Night of Giving, when those who usually receive a present instead give presents to those in need. Families have other traditions around this, such as dedicating one night of Chanukah to discussing where to give tzedakah and making a contribution or volunteering. Of course, you can give tzedakah any (or every!) night of Chanukah, or at any time. We encourage you to share the warmth and light of Chanukah with those who do not have access to resources that you might take for granted.
