Dear TxCAA,

We’re thrilled to announce that BOTH of our campuses have been recognized as 2023 Best Schools by Niche! FWAFA and TeSA are A-ranked schools.

We've earned this ranking by scoring highly in many factors that aim to capture what it’s really like to attend FWAFA and TeSA. We know our schools are a wonderful place to learn, create, and grow AND we’re proud of our students and staff for earning this national distinction.

TeSA

  • #7 Best Charter Elementary School in Dallas-Fort Worth Area

FWAFA

  • #7 Best High School for the Arts in the State of Texas
  • #7 Best School District in Tarrant County
  • #16 Best Charter Elementary School in Dallas-Fort Worth Area

Thank You for a Successful NTX Giving Day!

BIG thanks to everyone who made a gift to TCA+A on NTX Giving Day - you helped us exceed our goal of $10,000! We saw a double in both the amount given and number of donors this year which shows the need and support for arts education in North Texas.

YOU are helping us stay true to our mission - YOU are helping the next generation of creative thinkers and budding artists. THANK YOU!

Looking for more ways to help?

The TCA+A Development Department is in the planning stages of the fundraising campaigns for the remainder of the school year and would love help from our community. Whether you're a parent, donor, volunteer, or just want to get more involved – we’d love to hear from you.

Please reach out to our Development Director, Lauren Whitson at Lauren.Whitson@artsacademics.org for more information about serving on one of our fundraising committees. Let’s build a stronger organization together!

Our students are going places and we need YOU to help us get them there! Our Bus Driver position is on an as-needed basis, and a valid Texas Class B-CDL with PS Endorsements is required.

Monster Art Show

Now-Oct 26

FWAFA Gallery

The Monster Art Show is a FWAFA Favorite. This annual tradition connects our youngest artists to our high school students in a collaborative effort to raise money for the FWAFA Art department.

Third grade students spend time designing and creating a monster straight from their imagination. High school students then take that creation and bring it to life with their phenomenal artistic skills. Monster artwork can range in medium, anywhere from paintings to digital renditions, to glass sculpture, to crochet.

Stop by the FWAFA Gallery and check out Monster Art!

"Oh, what a beautiful day!"

Come see the FWAFA stage become O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A-!

As the sun rises on the plains of Oklahoma in 1906, we bask in the warm glow of a budding romance between the charismatic Curly and the lovely Laurey. Living with her Aunt Eller, Laurey catches the eye of farmhand Jud, who will compete with Curly for her hand and her heart. Meanwhile, Ado Annie, an exuberant romantic, falls for both the dashing young cowboy, Will Parker and Ali Hakim, the traveling salesman. The two young women must choose which path to take as tensions rise at the Box Social dance.

Alive with a magnificent score, diverse styles of dance, and a cast of spirited characters, Oklahoma! is a tale for all to see. A classic for years to come!
