ALLEN COUNTY 211 OFFERS NO WRONG DOOR TRAINING

The Area Agency on Aging 3 and Allen County 211 hosted a No Wrong Door event on Wednesday, January 29th, bringing together over 25 community organizations and 90 of their dedicated staff members. These professionals work directly with clients in need of services, whether by phone or in person.

The goal of the No Wrong Door event was to enhance our understanding of each other's roles, ensuring smoother referrals, reducing frustration, and making it easier for community members to access the help they need. Agencies shared educational materials, listened to presentations from highlighted organizations, and gained insights into the importance of customer service and trauma-informed care. The event also provided valuable time for networking and relationship-building, strengthening connections among agencies to better serve our community. Some agencies that presented include:

  • Allen County Job and Family Services
  • Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities
  • Help Me Grow
  • Allen County Family and Children First Council
  • Allen County 211
  • Allen County Veterans Services
