closes tomorrow, January 27, 2017. Each Regional Conference will include two keynote speeches from State Executive Council members, interactive workshops and a service learning activity. This three-hour conference is a great opportunity for students to network and develop leadership skills. Registration fee is $10 per attendee.

| Regional Executive Council Candidate Election Process - NEW |
The Regional Executive Council election process will include a formal interview that will be the same as the State Executive Council. Be sure to advise students of this change to the election process. Applications for both Regional and State Executive Councils, along with their respective Handbooks have been
posted. Practice interviews for both REC and SEC will be held on March 25, 2017 for any interested candidates. Executive Council interviews will occur at Columbus Culinary Institute on April 8, 2017.

Ohio FCCLA needs help collecting items to fill care packages for US military members. The State Executive Council has set the goal of packing over 200 care packages at the 2017 State Leadership Conference!

| National Leadership Conference Hotel - Saturday Check-In |
State staff need an idea of how many rooms we will need to reserve for the hotel on Saturday July 1, 2017 at National Leadership Conference. Opening Session will be on July 2, 2017. This is not a commitment, but an estimate. Please enter how many rooms you would need if you plan on arriving in Nashville on July 1, 2017 using the
request form. Deadline is February 10, 2017.

Registration is $28 per person and covers the educational event and admission to the Blue Jackets game. Contributions to the Ohio FCCLA Endowment Aids Outstanding Chapter Award.
All chapters participating in the 25-year logo challenge will fulfill part of the Outstanding Chapter Requirements. Those requirements include:
- Photos sent to The Endowment demonstrating the project used to raise the money for the 25-year logo challenge can earn the chapter 3-6 points of the category "Public Relations Accomplishments".
- Donations to the 25-year logo challenge will earn two points in the category "Exceptional Accomplishments" by Identifying how chapters create philanthropic awareness and or financial support for the Ohio FCCLA Endowment.

The Ohio FCCLA Alumni and Associates will have a sales table at the March 4, 2017 Regional Career Development Event located at Miami Valley Career Center. The Alumni organization has awarded many chapters with grants to assist their chapters in the advancement of FCCLA at the local, state and national level throughout the many years. News to come at the State Leadership Conference about a new grant.
