NLC Adult Volunteers Needed

We need your help! The 2023 National Leadership Conference is just around the corner, and we're in need of more Adult STAR Event volunteers to make this event a resounding success. Each state is responsible for providing enough STAR Events Volunteers based on their state's NLC delegation attendance quota. Ohio is still in need of seven Adult Volunteers.

Without the dedication and commitment of our volunteers, these events would not be possible. Your support is invaluable, and we would greatly appreciate your participation.

To sign up as a volunteer, follow these steps:

  • Log in to the FCCLA Portal.
  • Navigate to Meetings and Events.
  • Select the 2023 National Leadership Conference.
  • Click the "+" button next to the name of the attendee.
  • Add volunteering to your registration.

If you believe you have signed up to volunteer but have not been assigned, please email [email protected], and the Competitive Events team can check for you.

You can also look at your volunteer assignment by logging into the FCCLA Portal > Meetings and Events > 2023 National Leadership Conference >Volunteer Confirmation (black button).

Thank you in advance for your support and dedication. We look forward to seeing you at the 2023 National Leadership Conference!

*Please note, National FCCLA currently has enough student volunteers but are specifically needing adult volunteers.

New: Confirm STAR Events Schedules

Starting June 1, National FCCLA is introducing the brand-new Confirm STAR Events Schedule feature in the FCCLA Portal! This is required and will count towards 1 point on your participant's Point Summary Form. Attached are instruction sheets on how to utilize this feature effectively. The deadline to complete this is June 15.

This feature is designed to ensure the accuracy of your schedules and allow our national staff to address any issues before we all gather in Denver. It's crucial that you take the time to review your student's schedule carefully. Remember, some STAR Events names can be very similar, so please be extra cautious.

If you have any questions or need assistance with the Confirm STAR Events Schedule feature, don't hesitate to reach out to the National FCCLA Competitive Events Team ([email protected]).
