This opportunity will be awarded to the first chapter advisor who sends a request via email to the state advisor.
One Ohio HOSA chapter (only ten chapters nationwide will be chosen) will have the opportunity to pilot a new initiative vetted by National HOSA. The Invent2Prevent program will provide a team of your chapter members to create dynamic projects through project-based learning to counter targeted violence and hate by developing localized strategies that leverage peer influence. Below are two links that provide more details about the program.
-- The Invent2Prevent Staff serves as coach, mentor, and guide for your team throughout the entire program (August/September 2021 - April 2022).
-- This event is being looked at as a potential National HOSA program and provides members a chance to apply for scholarships.
-- A chapter might consider having their chapters' Health Education, Public Service Announcement, Community Awareness teams collaborate on this initiative.
