Updates to Item Coverage: Days on Hand

OHLQ is excited to announce an update to the Days-on-Hand (DOH) metric that can be found on the Item Coverage page in Ops.OHLQ.com. The new calculation for this metric allows an Agency to better see the number of items they have with over 365 days of inventory. Some of the changes include:

  • Average bottles sold per day is now calculated for up to a full calendar year of sales at an Agency.
  • Inventory is now calculated as a weekly average, which balances out the fluctuations in inventory from incoming transfer orders and sales.
  • Certain product Status and Detail Codes, like ALLOC, DISTRO, VAP, and Platinum are now excluded from the overall DOH summary and the number of products with DOH over 365.

This new calculation will better reflect the state of an Agency’s inventory and provide valuable insight on products that are underperforming or overstocked in a particular Agency to Agencies, Vendors, Brokers, and OHLQ. The updated reporting can be found on the Item Coverage page in Ops.OHLQ.com, with full details on the calculations available in on that page. Additionally, a detailed job aid for this page can be found in Ops under the Training heading.
