The 2022 Ohio State USBC Jamboree

The Miami Valley USBC board of directors did an outstanding job of hosting the recently completed Ohio State USBC Jamboree. From the Scavenger Hunt at the lanes, through the bowling and on to the Bowling Bingo at dinner and breakfast with workshop following at the Moose Lodge. A great time was had by all!!! Robin Wilson, Gr. Cincinnati USBC President was named Champion for the bowling tournament. Robin shot a 280 game and ended with a 756 total to lay claim to the Jacket!
Ohio State USBC
Entries are now in the mail for the Women’s Championships in Dayton and the Open Championships in Cleveland. The Women’s tournament is a Handicap Tournament and entry fee is $28.00 per person/per event with optional All Events available at $2.00. The tournament also offers Actual Events in Team, Doubles, Singles and All Events for an additional $5.00 per event. Keep in mind that the Women’s Championships offer either a four-person or a five -person team option. Entries close on January 17, 2023. 

The Open is also a Handicap event with entry fee of $28.00 per event with optional All Events available for $2.00. The Open also offers additional Actual Events in team, doubles and singles for $10.00 per event and All Events for $5.00. Deadline for the Open is also January 17, 2023.
RELATED CLUBS
It is now time to renew your memberships in the Related Clubs of the Ohio State USBC. The newly re-organized Ohio Association Leaders Club welcomes all current Association Managers and past Association Managers as well as all Local Association Officers. The purpose of the Club is to hold general round table discussions to aid all members in the dispensation of their duties and help promote the sport of bowling. The Association Leaders Club dues are $5.00. The Buckeye Bowling Writers is open to any Ohio State USBC member who is interested in promotion bowling in Ohio. Their mission is to bring together in an atmosphere of friendliness and cooperation those who promote bowling in the State of Ohio. The Buckeye Bowling Writers dues are $7.00 yearly. The Ohio Local Association President’s Club is open to Association Presidents and Vice Presidents both current and past. Their membership year runs from January 2023 – through December 2023 and their dues is $5.00 yearly. Membership forms for all three organizations can be found on the Ohio State USBC website.

plus 2 Delegates to the USBC Annual Meeting. 
Nominating Forms will be mailed to every local association as well as being available on our website: ohiostateusbc.com. Elections will be held at the Annual Meeting on May 13, 2023 at the Marriott Northwest in Columbus.
