WE NEED YOUR TESTIMONY!
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO
Monday, March 8 BY 12 Noon
As you are aware, the proposed state transportation budget puts funding for public transit at considerable risk due to a 90% reduction in funding proposed by Governor DeWine.
Although the Ohio House of Representatives passed their version of the Transportation Budget yesterday that increased discretionary funding to $56 million per fiscal year, we still must make our case to the Ohio Senate..
CALL TO ACTION - We need your help advocating for public transit by providing in-person or in writing testimony. Your testimony is invaluable and will help demonstrate the need for transit on the Ohio Senate.
Testimony from all of our systems - urban, suburban and rural - helps us persuade members.
Stephanie Kunze, Chairwoman, Transportation Committee for the Ohio Senate, has invited all transit agencies, as well as entities supporting public transit, to join the hearing in person if possible.
