Oil Remediation System (ORS)

KOSTER VAP I� Oil Remediation System was designed to clean concrete contaminated with organic materials such as oil, grease, animal products, or other hydrocarbon-based materials and provide a suitable substrate for subsequent systems to adhere.

VAP I� ORS C is a 2-component, VOC Compliant, Low viscosity, High Solids Epoxy used in conjunction with the ORS Detergent to coat concrete slabs contaminated with Oil Based Hydrocarbons. Cures in about 12 hours.

VAP I� ORS D is a special detergent used in conjunction with the Oil Remediation System to remove hydrocarbons such as oil, grease, fat, hydraulic fluid, etc.

A Brief History
Headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia, KOSTER American Corporation is part of the international product manufacturing group KOSTER Bauchemie, and is the central location for distribution of superior building products to North America.

KOSTER started out in the industry manufacturing and distributing cementitious waterproofing products in the early '90s to combat the problem of liquid water from entering structures. A chance meeting between KOSTER American's founder Harald Muench and several flooring manufacturers at a trade show prompted KOSTER to develop a solution to the number one cause of flooring failures today: moisture vapor. These flooring manufacturers were tired of dealing with the headaches and financial issues of repairing floors that were damaged by the moisture vapor and alkalinity problems associated with concrete.
