Hello friends!

Well it’s been quite a couple of years. For all of us. I don’t know about you but I’m looking forward to some precedented times.

In the past couple of years that I’ve lived in NYC I’ve learned a lot. What it’s like to live in a city during a worldwide pandemic, how happy I could be in my new life with Frank while living in a pandemic, the joy of seeing friends and family when we finally could.

I’ve also learned, like many of us, how to pivot. Who knew that would be a word that would feel exhausting at times? But pivot I did.

Many of you who have worked with me know that I’ve always been hands on. I love to dig into people’s closets, touch fabric and see how it drapes, put looks together and stand back and smile when my client feels good in their clothes and their skin.

Then everything changed. For all of us.

I began to start working with clients remotely. How does that work, you might ask? I wondered too. I researched, spoke to fellow stylists and dug deep. I ended up using a program called Hue & Stripe to work remotely with clients. This app has allowed me to see what is in a client’s closet after they uploaded their pieces, put together looks and online shop for them with ease. It’s still highly collaborative and I think surprising for my client that it works!

Was it a challenge for me at first? Yes. Do I miss my face to face time with clients? Yes. And yet, I’ve learned a lot and I’m happy to report we are slowly getting back to face to face; closets, shopping, all of it. I believe that virtual styling will always be part of my business now. It’s part of the world we now live in.

In keeping with all of the changes in this business I decided I need to also make changes to my website. To that end, please check out my new site at www.patriciagorham.com. I’m excited for this next chapter and the website reflects my new life and new ways we can work together.

Let me know if you need some help getting your look back together, going thru your closet or (hopefully) packing for a trip!

I’m here. It’s a new day. For all of us.

Best,

Patricia
