In April, the Jenks Public Schools Foundation announced the launch of
Trojans Together,
an initiative to give our Trojan community an opportunity to show gratitude and support for local businesses that invest in the JPS Foundation. Our Foundation is fortunate to receive support from an incredible network of local businesses. When we face the need for funding, the Jenks & Tulsa business community is always there for us, immediately willing to invest in our students and teachers through their generous donations - monetary, merchandise, or service. Today, many of those businesses are facing their own challenges when it comes to navigating the “new normal,” which is why the JPS Foundation is pivoting a bit and creating a way for us to do what we can to support them.
As part of the Trojans Together initiative, the JPS Foundation created a directory of business supporters on a new website page. The business listing includes supporters who are currently open for business and are ready to provide products and services to the Trojan community! Viewers are directed to individual business websites by clicking on the business name in the directory. The domain

links to the Trojans Together webpage and is used in marketing our new initiative. Information about the Trojans Together Initiative was shared with our Jenks community via electronic communication.
In addition to the business directory, Trojans Together Facebook posts provide an opportunity for the JPS Foundation to periodically highlight our business supporters. We know video grabs the attention of our Facebook followers, so businesses were invited to create a 10-15 second video. The videos include information about their business and how they support the JPSF. Visit the JPS Foundation FB page at

to view some of the video posts. We plan on maintaining the Trojans Together business directory indefinitely and will promote business supporters on our FB page throughout the summer months, if not longer.
The most important reason for launching Trojans Together is to let our business supporters know how much they are appreciated and that the JPS Foundation is thinking about them in this unprecedented time. We know, together we are better, and Trojans Together is a small way we can support our business community!
