HOLY FAMILY
The Holy Family Lunch Ministry continues to make and hand out 250-300 sack lunches every day , Monday through Friday. We have added a delivery of boxes of lunches each day to seniors at Park North and Park South Towers near Hanscom Park in collaboration with Beautiful Gate Ministry . Donations earmarked for Holy Family Ministries will be used to buy sandwich meats from local grocers.

The lunch program is in need of a few more volunteers willing to commit to two hours one day a week making the lunches. COVID-19 safety precautions are in place, and there is no contact with our visitors at the door for most of our volunteers. We will welcome older teen volunteers, who come either with a parent, a sibling, or a friend.

The poor and homeless who come to the church door for lunches have been asking for and increasingly wearing face masks, which is a positive change. We need more handmade masks to distribute to our neighbors.
Please contact us if you can help: volunteers@svdpomaha.com
The Door Ministry was closed during April, and we are preparing to re-open soon with COVID-19 safety in mind. We will give away clothing and personal goods to visitors at a new door and from a new room of the church. An inventory of pants, shirts, jackets, socks, underwear, shoes, belts, and personal hygiene items will be provided by SVdP store and warehouse staff, thanks to your donations to SVdP.
CONFERENCES
Father Taylor Leffler, Associate Pastor of St. Wenceslaus Church, will share how St. Teresa of Calcutta (a.k.a., Mother Teresa) intervened in his life following a dream on the eve of the Feast of St. Joseph and has been his spiritual guide ever since. We think you will enjoy it!
